Simple can easily be construed as normal, boring...unspecial. The name of this head comes more from the mantra, KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid. It has a basic design. It's a little more than 4" (105mm is metric for 4.1"). And a solid cap. But there are tiny features that make this an extraordinary head. The open bevel has a double ridge to keep it from warping and flaring out. It's prepped for three mount rotations, which is pretty standard these days, but what Milk does is build in a thick connecting strip in the middle of the head. This allows you to place the head on the shaft, turn a screw, and immediately get to slaying. It is the easiest, most secure mounting device. World champions have been using this head for years.
